Objective:1、To understand the incidence of dental caries and caries risk of thegroup of3~4years old children in changhai county,in order to provide importantrelated data for caries prevention.2、Based on the study of caries activity test, reveal the part of children’s mouthbacterial acid production capacity and caries status relationship.3、Exploration of effective brushing behavior and complex dental behavior-theapplication of fluoride foam on caries activity (Cariostat) effectMethods: a pervasive survey: for all children do caries examinations andCariostat test. Two. Intervention experiment: A. The control group only for mouthhealth education. B tooth-brushing instruction group: mouth health education+tooth-brushing instruction, effective brushing every day morning and evening2. Cfluoride group: oral health education+a one-time application of fluoride foam. Three,reexamine: intervention after a month again for all children tested by Cariostat. All datawere statistically analyzedResults: The caries prevalence rate of1723~4years old children’s in Changhaiarea reaches90.7%, dmft is6.6, the average dmfs is12.5; caries activity values areskewed distribution, security domain accounts for8.7%, very dangerous area accountedfor23%. The value of Cariostat and decayed missing teeth number had positivecorrelation. After the intervention compared to the control group,Cariostat means nochanges, tooth-brushing instruction group and the fluoride group Cariostat valuedecreased, the latter two groups decreased after the intervention showed no significantodds between difference.Conclusion: In changhai area3~4years old children with high caries prevalence,caries severity is quite serious, caries high risk of a larger proportion of children. It is urgent and difficult to carry out caries prevention in the local area. Bacterial acidproduction capacity with caries status was positively correlated to children. Effectivebrushing and fluoride (foam) can reduce children’s oral bacterial acid productioncapacity, so as to reduce the risk of caries risk, and two measures of intervention effecthad no significant difference, should be publicize and popularization and application inlocal region.
