Objective:Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome is an emergency but commondisease, which is of rapid progress, high rate of mortality and high treatment expense.Till today, it’s still a tough project, so it is extremely urgent to find out an effectivetherapeutic method. This essay is going to discuss the effects of improving coagulationfunction of the rat who infected MODS treated by Xue Bi Jing(a traditional Chinesemedicine promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis), by observing itsinfluence on MODS rat’s vWF, COX-2; to discuss Xue Bi Jing’s effects of reducingMODS rat inflammatory reaction, by observing its influence on MODS rat’s TGF-β1,COX-2; to discuss Xue Bi Jing’s effects of protecting MODS rat’s viscera, by observingthe change of ALT, CR and pathological results of lungs, livers, and kidney.Method:144SD rats (male) were divided into three groups at random, namely,sham control group (comparison group,48), MODS(model group,48), MODS and XueBi Jing group(test group,48), then, each group was divided into four sub-groups atrandom again, ie,12h,24h,36h and48h group of four points, each group had12rats.Intestinal ischemia--reperfusion combined with zymosan intraperitoneal injection madeinto the MODS rat samples. Artery clips clamping the superior mesenteric artery45min,and then opened the artery to the folder to restore perfusion to restore perfusion12hafter injection of small doses of zymosan (125mg/kg). After that test group was injectedXue Bi Jing4ml/kg in0.5h,12h,24h,36h. Model group was injected with saline4ml/kg. Same number of rats in each sub-group was killed right at the point of12h,24h,36h and48h after membrane came into being. Blood was collected for the determinationof alanine aminotransferase (ALT), creatinine (CR); enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay vWF factor in rats, COX-2factor, TGF-β1in factor; specimens from liver, lungsand kidney were histopathologically examined. The data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 statistical software.Results:1. Compared with comparison group, rats in model group were moreupset, anorectic, polydipsia, sluggish lazy, irritated, fluffy, ecphysesis, tongue by a dim,or dark purple, diarrhea, or even cruenturesis, stool smell foul, tail vein to cool and darkpurple performance; compared with model group, rats in test group performed betterthan the model group, the light, tongue color better, tail vein color, reaching normal.2. Compared with comparison group, rats in model group and test group hadhigher vWF, COX-2level in the same measure hour period, the divergence wassignificant for statistics (P<0.05); compared with model group, vWF level of test groupcame to descend obviously from24th hour, the divergence was significant for statistics(P<0.05), although, COX-2level of test group descend obviously in48th hour, thedivergence was significant for statistics (P<0.05).3. Compared with comparison group, rats in model group and test group hadhigher TGF-β1, COX-2level in the same measure hour period, the divergence wassignificant for statistics (P<0.05); compared with model group, TGF-β1, COX-2level oftest group came to descend obviously in48th hour, the divergence was significant forstatistics (P<0.05).4. Compared with comparison group, ALT、CR level of model group and testgroup rose obviously in the same measure hour period, the divergence was significantfor statistics (P<0.05); compared with model group, ALT level of test group came todescend obviously from24th hour, the divergence was significant for statistics (P<0.05).CR level of test group came to descend obviously from36th hour, the divergence wassignificant for statistics (P<0.05).5. Compared with model group, with study of organic pathological slices of48thhour, test group’s inflammation index was improved obviously, and bleeding andfibrosis lessened.Conclusions:1. Chinese medicine promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis couldsignificantly improve MODS rats’s upset, anorectic, polydipsia, sluggish lazy, irritated,fluffy, ecphysesis, tongue by a dim, or dark purple, diarrhea, or even cruenturesis, stoolsmell foul, tail vein to cool and dark purple performance, improve MODS rat state andblood stagnation condition.2. Chinese medicine promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis couldobviously descend vWF, COX-2level, protect of endothelial cells,obviously improve blood coagulation ability of MODS rats and mitigated the damage to viscera.3. Chinese medicine promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis couldobviously descend TGF-β1, COX-2level, obviously mitigate inflammatory reaction anddamage to viscera.4. Chinese medicine promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis couldsignificantly lower MODS rat ALT, CR levels, improve the alveolar collapse andalveolar septal thickening, reduce the infiltration of inflammatory cells, improve thestructure of disordered, relieve edema of liver cells and necrosis, attenuates renal tubularand interstitial hyperemia edema, on rat lung, liver, kidney functions have significantlyimproved.
