Objective By detecting the expression of neutrophil gelatinase-associatedlipoprotein (NGAL) in the urine of the the ESWL preoperative and postoperativeat different time, study variation and clinical significance of postoperativerenal injury in the early prediction of the ESWL, to discuss interference ofhematuria in the detection of urine NGAL,to seek better biochemical detectionindicators to early predict ESWL kidney injury, and to investigate its impacton the ESWL postoperative renal function, to provide the basis for interval timebetween two ESWL surgery.Method Screen30patients with kidney stone collect their urine specimenspreoperative,and postoperative2h(urine was divided into two parts,respectively,centrifugal and non-centrifugal processing),6h,12h,24h,48h,1w,2w,and detect the patients’ urinary NGAL concentration,analyze the expressionof different times.Result There are significant differences in variation of the concentrationof uNGAL of the different patients at each time point (F=87.288, P<0.05).30patients’ postoperative uNGAL concentration change significantly compare withthe preoperative and exhibit some regularity.Urinary NGAL begin to increase atpostoperative2h and the difference is statistically(P<0.05).Postoperativethe2h,concentration of uNGAL between the centrifugation group and non-centrifugal group were no significant difference,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The uNGAL level at ESWL postoperative6h,12hshow a peak state and the difference is statistically(P<0.05),but the differenceof the uNGAL concentration between postoperative6h and12h is not statistically(P>0.05).The uNGAL level declines at postoperative24h, is even lower atpostoperative48h,the differences of them are statistically compare to thepreoperative level (P<0.05).The uNGAL concentration is still slightly higherthan preoperative levels at postoperative1w and the difference is statistically(P<0.05).Until postoperative2w,uNGAL concentration close to the preoperativelevel,the difference is not statistically (P>0.05).Conclusion The results of this experiment show that uNGAL can findpostoperative early kidney injury at the first time, show a certain variationafter ESWL,and its detection without hematuria interference.prompt that NGALmay be effective monitoring indicators to determine postoperative early renalinjury,and provide an objective basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment ofrenal injury.The ESWL surgery should not be performed again in the the ESWLpostoperative1w,and we think it safer to perform ESWL again in ESWLpostoperative2w than that.
