| Objective: To investigate the relationship between the antisperm antibody (AsAb)and the adolescent patients with varicocele, and the effect of surgical treatment for it.Methods:We randomly selected each of40varicocele male adolescents(observation group) and non-varicocele male adolescents, measured serum AsAb positiverate, using the ELISA method. The32patients of former who were operated weremeasured with the AsAb positive rate of3months later, and divided into the preoperativegroup and the postoperative group two groups. Another, the varicocele group was dividedinto early puberty group and late adolescence group two groups according to the age, divided into level II and level III two groups according to the severity of the varicocele, divided into unilateral and bilateral two groups a ccording to the diseased side number. The data was analyzed statistically between each groups.Consequence:The AsAb positive rate of the varicocele male adolescents wassignificantly higher than the AsAb positive rate of the non-varicocele male adolescents,X2=18.96, P <0.05, and there is significant difference in statistics. The AsAb positiverate of the varicocele male adolescents who were part of the postoperative groupobviously lower than the AsAb positive rate of the varicocele male adolescents who werepart of the preoperative group,X2=6.06, P <0.05, and there is significant difference instatistics. The AsAb positive rate of the varicocele male adolescents who were part of lateadolescence group was significantly higher than the AsAb positive rate of the varicocelemale adolescents who were part of the puberty group, X2=4.35, P <0.05, and there issignificant difference in statistics. On the statistical analysis, there is no difference between the AsAb positive rate of the varicocele adolescent males with unilateral and theAsAb positive rate of the varicocele adolescent males with bilateral, X2=0.07, P>0.05.On the statistical analysis, there is no difference between the AsAb of positive rate of thevaricocele adolescent males with level II and the AsAb of positive rate of the varicoceleadolescent males with level III,X2=0.475,P>0.05.Conclusion:The AsAb positive rate of the dolescent varicocele group increasedsignificantly, and has a rise tendency with the growth of the age. The surgery was infavor to reduce the AsAb positive rate of the adolescent varicocele, and early surgicaltreatment may be beneficial to reduce the incidence of adult infertility. The AsAb canserev as a the surgery reference index of the adolescent varicocele. The AsAb positive ofthe adolescent varicocele has no correlation with the severity of the varicocele. Theserum AsAb of the adolescent varicocele remains the further research, used to assessthe future potential fertility problems. |
