Study On The Relationship Between Imaging And Analysis Of Carotid Artery Plaque Character And Cerebral Infarction

Objective:To investigate the relationship between carotid atherosclerosis plaquecharacter and cerebral infarction.Methods150patients with carotid artery ultrasonography and MRI angiography,were examined by DSA, cross-sectional and longitudinal images for application andpreliminary judgment plaque characters, according to different circumstances lesions by2D,3D, carotid and cardiac ultrasound screening suitable cases, then do the carotidartery MRA, part of the cases do carotid artery CTA or DSA further clear, determinethe plaque character, retrospective analysis of research on the relationship betweenstroke and carotid artery plaque, degree of stenosis of carotid artery diagnosis standardby NASCET [1]. Results in150cases, infarction82cases, progress in52cases,68cases in the control group. Infarction group found139cases of plaque, plaque number205, located in the carotid bifurcation bifurcation segment160,45; vulnerable plaque125, stable plaque80; heavy, mild stenosis respectively,8.9%,17.9%,67.5%, controlgroup58cases of plaque, plaque number71, in the neck artery bifurcation bifurcationsegment57,14; vulnerable plaque49, stable plaque22; light, severe stenosis were93.5%,7%,1.1%.Conclusion: the vulnerable plaque stability than plaque in cerebral stroke relativerisk RR value is high, comprehensive statistical analysis of P <0.05, the difference wasstatistically significant, vulnerable plaque to advances in risk of stroke was significantlyhigher. Drug prevention and treatment can reduce cerebral stroke, stroke level, twolevels of prevention and treatment is very important.
