Knowledge discovery identify valid novel potentially useful information from dataset, and ultimately understandable patterns of non-trivial process. Acupuncture andmoxibustion data mining from the literature of acupuncture and moxibustion data canobtain useful information. It is a cross disciplinary study including many fields, such aspattern recognition, statistics, database, knowledge acquisition, data visualization, expertsystem. Application of acupuncture and moxibustion data mining technology to improvemedical treatment level has important scientific and practical value. Knowledge discoveryprocess includes data selection, data preprocessing, data transformation, data mining,interpretation of results and evaluation.Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) is proposed by a German mathematician Mr.WilleProfessor in the1982paper, it is based on mathematical concepts and conceptual level.FCA can be used to solve the problem of descriptive on Knowledge Discovery.Acupuncture treatment process, there are a lot of names of diseases and acupuncturepoints. Use of the traditional concept lattice to describe objects (names of diseases) andattributes (acupuncture points), Hasse diagram generated from the formal context, thereare more cross-connections between the layers, the researchers cannot be found from thechaotic figure intuitive useful acupuncture treatment knowledge. In order to solve theproblem of cross a large number in the between Hasse diagram layer, This paper presents apartial order based on the principle of structural partial-ordered diagram generationmethod. Combination of partial sequence diagram generation method with hierarchicaloptimization method based on the ranks transform, the concept of hierarchical structuralpartial-ordered diagram relations concise, no cross-connection, meaning clear categories,the distinctive features of hierarchical relationships. Visualization of hierarchicalrelationship based on the properties of partial order relationship.This paper briefly introduced the theory of partially ordered structure based on theattribute description. Use the partial order graph generation tools. This paper presents amethod of discovering the selection rules for acupuncture points of digestive system based on the theory of structural partial-ordered attribute diagram. The formal context ofacupuncture attributes of common diseases of digestive system is established based onXue Ligong’s “430diseases acupuncture tables” about the treatment of various diseasesyndromes, and some structural partial-ordered attribute diagrams are generated. Finally,the rules for acupuncture point selection are discovered.
