Objective Wound healing is a complex process, Using the newBiomedical and Optical technology of the Nonlinear spectral imagingwhich based on Two-Photon Excitation Fluorescence(TPEF)and SecondHarmonic Generation(SHG)to study the changing process of collangein wound healing on rat, thereby to understand the changing rules of thecollange in wound healing, and so to guide intervening measures forrepair in trauma in clinical. Methods A total of90SpragueDawley ratswere randomly divided into9groups,Two fu11-thickness wounds(1.8cm in diameter each)were made on the back of each rats, located on twosides of the spine.Useing the rb-bFGF(Recombinant Bovine BasicFibroblast Growth Factor For External Use)for the right sides settingas experimental group(EG) and normal saline for the lefts setting ascontrol group(CG).Recording the speed of the healing、the area of thewound in different time after wound and scanning thespectral informationof collange in wound by the use of nonlinear spectral imaging system. Results The healing rate of wounds was100%in EG and95.32%inCG at day17after wound. The collange in EG was much more than CG atthe same time. Conclusion Nonlinear spectral imaging based on TPEF/SHG may be used for non-destructive detection and real-timemonitoring,having development potential clinical application.
