Objective: Obeser and analysis the clinical indicators about chemotherapy in lung cancerpatients with pleural effusion. Methods: Collected16cases of lung cancer with malignant pleural effusion, determine the level ofchest water albumin, lactate dehydrogenase (lactate dehydrogenase LDH),CEA (carcinoembryonicantigen CEA),cytokeratin19soluble fragment (Cyfra21-1)before chemotherapy and collact thedata of age, gender, chemotherapy, pathological type.Turn the count data into measurement data, and evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy in patients with different expression by using the Fisherexact.Use RECIST1.1evaluation criteria to assess the chemotherapy response. Results: The group of all patients completed four courses of chemotherapy. The results show thatthe elderly group (older than60years) and the non-elderly group (younger than60years old)control rates were no significant differences (P=0.615>0.05); gender different between the twogroups, control rates were no significant difference s(P=0.308>0.05); different types ofpathology among the groups, control rates were no significant differences (P=0.959>0.05);chemotherapy different between the two groups, control rates were no significant differences (P=0.175>0.05); the level of pleural effusion albumin more than45.5g/L and less than45.5g/Lgroups control rates were no significant differences (P=0.145>0.05); the level of pleural fluidLDH more than313.5IU/L and less than313.5IU/L groups control rates were no significantdifferences (P=1>0.05); pleural fluid Cyfra21-1more than27.35ng/ml and less than27.35ng/mlgroups control rates were no significant differences (P=0.615>0.05); the level of pleural fluidCEA more than55.75ng/ml and less than55.75ng/L groups control rates wwre significantdifferences (P=0.001<0.05);Conclusion: The age, gender, histological type, chemotherapy regimens and the expression aboutpleural effusion albumin, pleural fluid LDH, pleural effusion CYFRA21-1was no significantdifference. The level of pleural fluid CEA more than55.75ng/ml may suggest not sensitive tochemotherapy, CEA is a risk factor for the efficacy of chemotherapy.
