The Study On Guangdong Occupational Prevention&Treatment Management

China emphasizes on economic development in previous years, ignores theoccupational hazards. This leads in thousands of occupational disease which is bringinghuge side effect to economic&social development in recent30years. As a leadingprovince, Guangdong has taken lots of measures on occupational disease prevention andtreatment, however, the result is not satisfied, the trend is rising, and new diseases arefrequently found in Guangdong. More effective measures to solve this dilemma is required.This thesis is a study on occupational disease prevention and treatment takingGuangdong Province as study object. Firstly it indicates the current management status ofGuangdong occupational disease prevention and treatment through some basic concepts’illustration and necessary comments. Then it collects years of statistic, explains theoccupational disease characteristics and measures now are taken into implementation onoccupational disease prevention and treatment. After that lists the existing dilemma andanalyses the root causes at the same time. Finally raises new and effective ways&measuresaccording the root causes.The new measures are taken two levels into consideration such as government,enterprise level. Due to the root cause, solutions starts from government level. Governmentshould change attitude to enterprise by helping and sharing responsibilities on hazardscontrol, e.g. training up capable hygienist then sending them to the enterprise, strengtheningthe law system and setting more institutes, etc. It’s effective to get rid of the hazards.Enterprise should to change their attitude on hygiene management from “passive” to“active”, and builds up a healthy&safety culture in daily management, which sure bringthe new result. New measures focus on implementation; it has more details in requirementsand responsibilities. If these measures are well carried, satisfied progress will been seen inGuangdong, which will surely promote the development in the whole country.
