Melastoma affine is evergreen shrubs (Mleatsomaecea).It is adaptable and has a high ornamental value. It also has high value because its fruits are eatible and the whole plant can be used for medecine. It grows in the south of Yangzi River, like Fujian, Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tailand and other provinces. The seed germination, cuttage, hydroponics culture rooting propagation, aseptic seedling proliferation and rooting induction of Melastoma affine under different treatment were studied, Trying to find the light quality and other factor reproductive factors influence of the Melastoma affine propagation, in order to improve the efficiency of the Melastoma affine propagation to provide more information.The main results were described as follows:1Light quality had a highly significant effect on Melastoma affine’s seed germination force, and had a significant effect on germination percentage and the length of the buds. Red (R3) light was the best to improve Melastoma affine’s germination force, germination percentage and the length of buds.2Light quality and the concentration of NAA had a significant effect on rooting rate, red (R2) light treatment with10mg.L-1NAA were the best to improve rooting rate. Light quality had a significant effect on cutting seedlings’average rooting length and stem length.red (R2) light was the best for improving the rooting length While blue (B) light was the best for improving the stem length.Light quality had a highly significant on chlorophyll content, and the concentration of NAA and matrix had a significant effect on it. Blue (B) light,5mg·L-1NAA and Sand:peat=1:1were the most suitable to improve the chlorophyll content.3Melastoma affine’s hydroponics culture rooting propagation experiment:Light had a highly significant of rooting rate and number of root. The rooting rate of Blue+Red2(B:R2=2:1) treatment was75%, and had a significant effect on rooting generation. Red2(3R2) treatment was the best for improving rooting number27.681. The rearch of different concentration of NAA, IB A and different part of branches showed that parts of branches had a significant effect on the rooting rate. The upper part of branches was the best to improve the rooting rate59.755%.4Melastoma affine’s tissue culture proliferation experiment:analysis of average multiplication factor showed that the importance of different light quality effects of Melastoma affine tissue proliferation in order was that:2G+R2>3R2>2P+R2>2R2+P>2B+R2>W>R1+R2+R3. The multiplication factor of Green+Red2(G:R2=2:1) was6.081, and different light had a highly effect on the multiplication factor.5Melastoma affine’s tissue culture seedlings rooting induction experiment:light hadn’t significant effect on rooting rate, but had a highly effect on the number and length of root. Blue+Red2(B:R2=2:1) were the best to improve the rooting rate and rooting number, but the results were poorer than the control group. Different light quality effects on Melastoma affine aseptic seedling rooting induction in order was that R)+R2+R3>2G+R2>2B+R2>W>3R2>2R2+P>2P+R2. The rooting length of Redi+Red2+Red3(R1:R2:R3=1:1:1) treatment was3.657cm.
