Chrysanthemi, anthotaxy of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat is used as a heat-clearing and detoxication herb first recorded in Shen Nong Materia Medica. Chrysanthemi is one of those famous for its edible and medical value Chinese Medicine materials. In the area of the Dabie Moutains near Hubei city of Macheng, Chrysanthemum fu was praised highly for its yield and quality. However, the practical value of Chrysanthemum fu was not developed completely for its germplasm, variety and low profile. Increasing yield, quality improvement and medicinal materials’stability, choosing elite species also is a capital construction for the Chinese Medicine materials’GAP. Meanwhile, only using steady and high-quality seeds, such high-yield and high-quality Chinese Medicine materials can be produced. For the germplasm, quality, production and enhancing GAP construction, the work of identification and the fine strains for Chrysanthemum fu should be studied systematically. This work attempts to construct a favorable brand system for Chrysanthemum fu and improve its economic benefit.The investigation presented the abundant resources about Flos Chrysanthemi. Over10species Flos Chrysanthemi have been cultivated artificially for long-term and formed stabilized cultivars. Native early flower and late flower are cultivated in a large quantity.Appling HPCL for main contents’quantitative analysis. Compared with other species, the main tree content (Chlorogenic acid, Luteoloside,3,5-O-caffeoylquinic acid) exceeded the2010of Chinese Pharmacopoeia obviously. This work showed the excellent quality of Chrysanthemum fu. Analytical method has been established for38batches from different species and collection period based on HPLC.15common peaks were marked and the similarity of38batches medicinal materials was from0.839to0.99.In addition, cluster analysis was performed for the38batches medicinal materials by using SPSS. Analysis result was that the local early flowers and late flowers were classified into the same cluster and the subclass composed by local early flowers and late flowers was classified with the subclass composed by Chrysanthemum hang and Chrysanthemum gong. The result showed the main chemical components and quantity from those two sample sets was similar.In this research, by using the ISSR technique to study the main cultivars of Flos Chrysanthemi from Macheng, the genetic diversity fingerprint of Chrysanthemum fu was built and analysis both its genetic relationship and hereditary character from the perspective of molecular biology. All of the work attempted to guide the new species of Chrysanthemum fu. At last, A total117DNA bands and83polymorphic bands were amplified by13ISSR primers selected. The value of polymorphic bands was70.94%. The genetic similarity coefficients among Flos Chrysanthemi from different species based on the ISSR date ranged from0.570to0.885. The cluster analysis showed the genetic distance between Chrysanthemum fu and Chrysanthemum hang was different while the local species may have close genetic relationship with Yiyedabaiju and Chrysanthemu chu.Applied randomized block design, HPLC and analysis of variance, the plant traits, phonological period, stress resistance, production and quality of10main cultivars from Macheng was fully investigated. The hereditary character in10species of local early flowers, late flowers, and Baisedayangju was relatively stable. With the features of strong resistance, high production and good quality, these10species of local Flos Chrysanthemi are worth for marketing generalize.
