So far the cortex eucommiae has deeply been researched, and the industry of the extraction of cortex eucommiae has been developed widely in our country with ten thousand tons of Eucommia Residue. About the residual, before, the methods of dealing with it include:(1) as feed composition but with lower rate;(2) Incineration, landfill or cooking, heating and as the manure with serious pollution of atmospheric environment. Our aim of the paper is to optimized the extraction approach of eucommia ulmoides oliv, and analysis the condition of solid state fermentation and the residue, in order to find the new utilization of Eucommia Residue.1. With the measurement of total sugar content in enzymatic hydrolysis and the determination of extraction yield of eucommia ulmoides oliv, we determined the production condition of the cellulose compound enzyme pretreatment of eucommia ulmoides leaf residue. The result exhibited:the temperature is50℃;pH is5.5; the ratio of material and liquid is1:15; enzymatic hydrolysis time is4h and the enzyme dosage is1.6mg/g. Compared with the material without enzymic treatment, the extraction efficiency improved1.49. The result indicated that the cellulose complex could be used for pre-treatment in order to improve the extraction efficiency.2. Based on the determination of enzyme activity and protein content, we obtained the solid-state fermentation condition of the cellulose complex and analyzed the product. The result exhibited that fermentation temperature is35℃; the original pH is6.0; the original moisture content is75%; the fermentation time is96h. Under the condition, the protein content increased the highest content, at the same time the treatment improved the efficiency of utilization and digestion. Due to the Chinese medicine with a variety of biological active ingredients, so the feedstuff could make livestock meat more delicate and more rich nutrition. Therefore, the research would be more necessary.
