This thesis is based on the appearance and man-machine of the tractor’s development process. Pointed out the influencing factors of tractor’s appearance and man-machine design, summed up the design principles of tractor’s appearance and man-machine, elaborated the importance of shape design and man-machine design, did specific design practices accorded to an analysis of the design principles and methods, and analysis the design combined with CATIA V5.The main contents are as follows:(1) Introduced research status of design and human-computer design of tractors and electric tractors and identified the problems and deficiencies. Analysis the influencing factors of design. Summed up the design principles of the look and human-computer based on the evolution and development trends, as the design reference.(2) Research and analysis the form, colors, materials and processing technology, surface treatment of the tractor’s exterior design. Summed form design and color design, summarized the used aesthetic rules of exterior design and generally affecting factors of the tractor’s appearance design, as the basis of the study of the tractor design(3) System overview and research the ergonomics theoretical knowledge applied to tractor. Elaborated significance of ergonomics knowledge used in tractor design. Summarize the theoretical knowledge, research methods, design methods and design process as the basis of ergonomic research in tractor.(4) Research and analysis the design content, design technology and design methods involved in the design process. Positioning and design simulation content, technology and methods which will be the use in the topic.(5) Do specific programs sketch design, digital modeling, rendering. Use CATIA V5to analysis the ergonomics of design, verify the design size and the arrangement of the parts.
