| Feather powder, being the leader of animal protein diet, contains extremely rich resources, including high crude protein content, the exploiture and utilization of feather powder to ease the shortage of protein feed in China have become an important research pathway. Microbial fermentation degradation of feather keratin, has its unique advantages, and generally stay in the stage of laboratory research. there are few reports about enlarged industrial on industrial production, research microbial amplification process of the feathers is very beneficial reuse of waste feathers for our current national conditions.Using the technology of solid state fermentation with two kinds of bacillus Q2and Q3mixed cultures which are saved in our laboratory.the bacillus were the seed strains, and the feather meal and bran as the material for the fermentation,we made the pilot study based on the experience in the lab under the small scale,and the main stuff was the50L solid state fermentation.Laboratory strains expanded amount cultured bacteria,and then activation, identified the epriod as the seed and the best concentration of two strains.Determining the best seed age are NJQ2:8-12h and NJQ3:10-12hours. We made the two strains as fermentation seed into liquid.50liter fermentation, which was put the feather meal and wheat bran as fermentation base material, adding nutritional saline, then sterilized by autoclaving. After sterilizing,we inoculation and a fermentation period is six days. Then controlled the parameters of solid-state fermentation conditions.The fermentation process employs orthogonal test method with four factors,such as fermentation process of ventilation, temperature, humidity, stirring speed test, which factor was separated into three level units and then we made9fermentation tests by controlling the fermentation process ventilation,temperature, inoculation quantity, and stirring speed..after end of experiment, fermentation product need to be collected,then detection the product such as soluble protein content, The solids weight loss rate,in vitro digestibility and finally calculated degration rate this as the best indicators of a combination of fermentation conditions,with the optimum fermentation conditions,we had successful achieve of a small scale to the enlarged transition.Under statisticsof the fermentation results with the orthogonal test table.The result of affecting the fermentation are:speed> ventilation> inoculum size> moisture content, various factors optimal level:A2.B2.C3.D3. and the best fermentation conditions are:12%of the inoculum size,100%water content, the amount of ventilation to2.5Hz, and ventilation0.8m3/h.With theoptimal fermentation conditions, the fermented product bulk soluble protein content can raise to17.18mg/ml, weightlessness rate of classics dried products can reach67.20%, digestion rate in vitro being51.38%, and total degradation rate up to84.53%. The soluble protein content in the raw product is greatly improve and also in vitro digestion, the test can prove that absorption and the utilization rate of the protein are both increase. It Can be apply in the further developed as a protein feed additives products.The study achieved success with making the mixed strains in the solid-state fermentation with feather powder, the scale from the level of test in laboratory into he industrialization of cascade amplifier, we have reached the pilot production level, and explore the optimum fermentation conditions for feather powder. we have explored the new development direction on the available materials reutilization. |
