| This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of qualified forage as fish fodder fed with grass carp (Ctenopharyngon idella) on growth, muscle quality, and economic benefits and the effects of different proportion and feeding modes of formulate feeds and the herbage on grass carp. The results are summarized as follows:Experiment I. Soybean meal, rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal are the main proteinogen in formulate feeds of grass carp. In this study, grass carp with average weight of (52±5)g was fed with formulate feeds, Guimu1, Dwarf Elephant Grass and Ramie for150days to investigate the influence of feeding different herbage on growing performance and flesh quality. The results indicated that:feeding Guimu1, Dwarf Elephant Grass, Ramie and formulate feeds had no effect on the survival rate of grass carp. Body fat lower in the fish fed with Guimu1, Dwarf Elephant Grass and Ramie, but higher protein level, amylase, lipase, and protease(P<0.05). The palatable taste amino acids (TDEE) were increased significantly in Guimu1diet(P<0.05), the same pattern was observed in polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and eicosapentaenoic acid add docosahexaenoic acid (EPA+DHA) in muscle. The results showed the grass carp by feeding Dwarf Elephant Grass had lower the GR, SGR (P<0.05).The GR, SGR of silver carp and black carp showed no significant different in all test ponds (P>0.05), but bighead carp in pond was fed with Dwarf Elephant Grass had highest the GR, SGR in all ponds (P<0.05). The Survival of silver carp in the pond which fed with Guimu1was significantly higher than other ponds (P<0,05), but Survival of grass carp, bighead carp and black carp were not significant different (P>0.05). The fish fed with Guimu1had highest the fish yield and economic benefits. Results showed that feeding Guimu1, Dwarf Elephant Grass and Ramie had better effects on crispy flesh than feeding formulate feed. Guimu1had the best effect on growth or crispy flesh, and economic benefits. However the growth rate significantly decreased in Guimu1Dwarf Elephant Grass and Ramie diet (P<0.05).Experiment II. This experiment was conducted to study the best proportion and feeding modes of pellet feed and Guimu1in grass carp dietary. Healthy grass carp with initial body weight210±10g were randomly allocated to8groups each with3replications fed with proportion of pellet feed and Guimu1at100:0,75:25,50:50, 25:75and0:100each day for160days. There are4feeding modes in50:50. The results showed that:weight gain and crude protein in group3was higher than the others (P<0.05); compared with the control group, the hepatopancreas rate, the palatable taste amino acids (TDEE), the fatty acid (PUFA), the∑n-3PUFA and the muscle fiber density were higher in group3(P<0.05), on the other hand, the fat contents and muscle fiber diameter was lower in group3than the control group (P <0.05).The group3also had highest economic benefits. However, effecting by proportion of pellet feed and Guimu1but different feeding modes were different. Simultaneously, on this experiment, the best proportion of pellet feed and Guimu1was "Feeding Guimu1in the morning, feeding pellet feed in the afternoon"(group3), which could was better in grass carp growth, muscle quality and economic benefit. |
