Abstract/Summary:
This study investigated the nutritional level of pig fodder in Shandong province and asituation of the sur-plus and deficit through two experiments, a further analysis andcomparison of influence of different manganese content in feed to the composition of pigblood and manganese content in feces.Firstly, make an investigation and study of nutrient composition on the diet withdifferent pig feed mills in Shandong province. By collecting the various stages of(Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshine) triple double hybridization pig′s feed sample in16pig farmsand typical feed mills (more than annual productions of100000tons) of Shandong province, included grain and powder materials, a total of seven stages (the suckling pig stage, the pigletstage, the small pig stage, the middle pig stage, the big pig stage, the pregnancy sow stage, the sow lactation stage) of the82pig feed samples, we determined the content of conventionalingredients, amino acids, mineral elements, including the pig feed′s nutrient compositionanalysis of different feed factory and comparison with the standards, in addition to pig feed′snutrient composition differences between different regions. The results show that it was different among different companies in the each stage of pigfodder on the nutrient content, levels of four trace elements (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn) generally farexceeded the standard value. There were areas of significant difference of nutrient contentwith the large majority of pigs and lactation sow. Pig feed contents of crude ash, phosphoruslevels and lactating sow feed′s crude ash, crude fibre content and manganese content ofpregnant sows were compared with the positive Group (P <0.01). Pig feed′s contents ofarginine and methionine, for pregnant sows regional differences in energy levels andphosphorus levels were significantly (P <0.05).The result of the investigation of the test showed that pig feed in different plants inShandong province content of trace elements Mn have larger differences, however theresearch of Mn requirements was still rare so far, so further investigation were made on thefeed (including pellets and powder), feces and serum of three stages (conservation stage,growing-finishing stage, stage of lactation sow) of (Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshine) tripledouble hybridization pigs in different pig farms of Shandong province. As the unit for different areas,5pigs on each stage were randomly chosen as a test object, samples of10pigfarms were collected for determination. Determination of indicators such as Mn contents offeed, feces, serum and MnSOD (Mn-Superoxide Dismutase) activity in serum, analysis andcomparison of different Mn contents feeds′influences on its related component of blood andfecal Mn contents. Results show that:(1) For feedstuffs of three stages (conservation of stage, growth andfattening stage, lactation sow stage) when the content of manganese respectively were:46~101mg/kg,44~181mg/kg,37~158mg/kg, manganese in serum levels were maintained ata relatively stable state. When manganese content in the diet respectively were:44~78mg/kg,72~105mg/kg,37~112mg/kg, serum MnSOD activity was relatively stable. It explainedexcess manganese adds were meaningless, discharged along with the feces.(2) Feed content ofMn (independent variables) in three stages of conservation pig, growing-finishing pig, lactation sow and Mn content (dependent variables) in the manure were a very significantpositive linear correlation. Regression equations are:conservation phases: y=3.2700x+253.5953growing-finishing phases: y=3.4735x+199.3774stages of lactation sow: y=5.3010x+69.0701...
