| The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of dietary crude protein, energy, and crude fiber levels on growth performance, meat quality and serum biochemical parameter so as to find the suitable dietary protein levels of Wei pig. Three experiments were conducted in the study. The pigs were fed by the automatic feeding system, and the consumption of feed was recorded immediately. Three experiments had the consistent content of other nutrients except the crude protein, energy and crude fiber levels respectively. The three experiments were all divided into two stages (growing period:35-60kg finishing period:60-80kg). When the experiments were finished, all the pigs were drawn blood by Vacuum tubes so as to determine the serum biochemical parameter and some endocrine hormones after12h on an empty stomach. Meanwhile, four pigs of experiment1were selected to determine the slaughter performance and meat quality. Six pigs (four male pigs and two female pigs) of experiment2and experiment3were selected to determine the slaughter performance and meat quality.Experiment1. Effect of dietary crude protein levels on growth performance, meat quality trait and serum biochemical parameter in Wei Pigs24health Wei pigs with38.46±4.02kg were randomly divided into3groups, and each group had8replicates. The crude protein (CP) level of growing period of treatment1, treatment2and treatment3were18%,16%and14%, respectively. The CP levels of the finishing period were16%,14%and12%, respectively. The results showed that the crude protein levels of the experiment had no significant effect on ADG, ADFI and F/G in growing period. while in finishing period, F/G and the cost of weight gain of treatment3were significantly higher than treatment2(P<0.01). The pH of24h after slaughter of treatment1was significantly lower than treatment2(P<0.05), and L value was significantly higher than treatment2(P<0.05). The content of unsaturated fatty acid(UFA) and monounsaturated fatty acid(MUFA) were higher than treatment3(P<0.01)and had no significant difference compared with treatment2(P>0.05). In conclusion, when the dietary digestible energy was12.77MJ/kg, the appropriate CP level of growing and finishing period for Wei Pigs was14%.Experiment2. Effect of dietary digestible energy levels on growth performance, meat quality trait and serum biochemical parameter in Wei Pigs24health Wei Pigs with38.7±4.91kg were randomly allotted to3groups, and each group had8replicates. The digestible energy (DE) level of growing period of treatment1, treatment2and treatment3were13.54MJ/kg,12.93MJ/kg and12.32MJ/kg, respectively. The DE levels of the finishing period were13.66MJ/kg,13.04MJ/kg and12.43MJ/kg, respectively. The results showed that in35-60kg stage, ADG and F/G of treatment1were significantly higher than that of treatment3(P<0.05). In60-80kg stage, ADG of treatment1was significantly higher than that of treatment3(P<0.01). F/G of treatment1(4.08:1) was significantly lower than that of treatment3(P<0.01). And thickness of backfat of treatment1was significantly higher than that of treatment2(P<0.05). With the increase of digestible energy level, the content of9,12-Octadecadienoic Acid increased significantly(P<0.05), and the content of Palmitoleic Acid of treatment1was was significantly lower than that of treatment3(P<0.05). The content of PUFAand MUFAof treatment1were higher than that of treatment2and treatment3(P<0.05). The serum biochemical parameters were not significantly different among the three treatments. In conclusion, when the dietary CP was16%, the appropriate digestible energy level of growing period for Wei Pig was13.54MJ/kg. When the dietary CP was14%, the appropriate digestible energy level of finishing period for Wei Pig was13.66MJ/kg.Experiment3. Effect of dietary crude fiber levels on growth performance, meat quality trait and serum biochemical parameter in Wei Pigs24health Wei Pigs with36.48±3.80kg were randomly allotted to3groups, and each group had8replicates. The dietary crude fiber levels of growing period of treatment1, treatment2and treatment3were7.09%,6.43%and5.80%, respectively. The dietary crude fiber levels of the finishing period were6.72%,6.05%and5.37%, respectively. The results showed that in35-60kg stage, the cost of weight gain of treatment2was higher than that of treatment3by11%(P<0.05). In60-80kg stage, ADG and ADFI of treatment1was higher than that of treatment2and treatment3(P<0.01) respectively. F/G(3.66:1) and the cost of weight gain of treatment1was significantly lower than that of treatment2by21.46%and18.83%(P<0.05). The content of Oleic acid and MUFAwere higher than that of treatment2(P<0.05). The content of9,12-Octadecadienoic Acid,7,10,13-Eicosatrienoic acid, Arachidonic acid and PUFAwere higher than that of treatment3(P<0.05). The content of amino acids of treatment2were significantly higher than that of treatment3expect for Cys, His and Pro(P<0.05). The enzyme activity ofAST and the content of GLU of treatment2were significantly lower than that of treatment3(P<0.05),but had no significant difference compared with treatment1(P>0.05). In conclusion, the appropriate dietary crude fiber level of growing and finishing period for Wei Pig was5.80%and6.72%, respectively. |
