Screening Of New Superior Strains Of Volvariella Volvacea By Hybridization

The high strains of Volvariella volvacea with high yield and steadyagronomic characters were selected as parents in this study. Firstly, single sporestrains were screened by spore collection and single spore isolation. Secondly, weobtained313novel strains after single spore selfing, single spore hybridization,multiple-spores selfing and multiple-spores hybridization. After preliminary screeningof four fruiting comparison experiments and secondary screening of one fruitingcomparison experiment, we obtained the three new strains (V26, V54and V208)which are productive, well-adapted and suitable to large scale cultivation, as well asfive new strains (V18, V37, V212, V227and V245) having great value in use.
