The materials contain the improved maize lines and the basic maize inbred lineswhich are from the forth-temperate system. The NCⅡdesigns was adopted in thisexperment. We study the yield traits of improved maize lines, such as plant height, earheight, kernel weight and so on.The results are fowllings:First: We find the combination, temperate zone materials and improved maizelines, perform an advantage value of one hundred and fifty-one point eight percent.Hybridthe combinations performan the highest advantage value.Second: In our experments the effect value of general combining ability thatinclude D29and D885is very high. While the rest of inbred lines with low value.Third: According to the results of incomplete diallel cross test, the combinationof the hybrid have the high yield and quality characteristics and be more practical inbreeding.Forth:In our preliminary judgment: D17, D85and Mo17have a closephylogenetic relationship; PH6WC and D885are closed too.While D29isn’t belongto the five system.Fifth: The results of tested genetic model are: the genetic of maize plant height,ear length, ear weight, grain weight per spike,100kernel weight, kernel rate inaccording to the additive-dominance-epistasis genetic modle. But the genetic of ear ofcorn and axis coarse isn’t follow the dominance–epistasis genetic modle. Epistaticeffects doen’t exist and the epistasis effects was predominant.
