Commonly growth inhibitor PP333has been selected with8-year-old walnut in Wudu walnut base in Mianzhu, Sichuan Province. Foliar spray, infusion and soil dressing have been used. To study the effect of PP333on the growth and development of the walnut,5concentration and3repeat have been set, leaf spray (400mg/kg to2000mg/kg) infusion (0.2g/plant-1.0g/plant), soil dressing (0.8g/plant-4.0g/plant).Tree height, slightly longer, production and other indicators,14indicators in total,have been measured and the differences among the treatments have been analysized. Finally a comprehensive evaluation of the results has been carried out with the principal component analysis method. The experimental findings are as follows:(1) The concentration of PP333is a positive correlation to the inhibitory effect of tree height and crown width, and soil dressing work worse. After treated by leaf spray2000mg/kg、infusion1.0g/plant、soil dressing0.8g/plant,tree high growth decline successively56cm,43cm,13cm compared with ck from April to September. After treated by leaf spray1600mg/kg infusion1.0g/plant, soil application of4.0g/plant, crown decline successively1.1m2,1.0m2,0.3m2compared with ck from April to September.(2) PP333has an impact on the single or compound leaves and the weight rate between them. The concentration of single leaf area suppression most significant are1200mg/kg and1600mg/kg、infusion1.0g/plant、soil dressing3.2g/plant, leaf area growth decline successively1.5cm、2.2cm、0.4cm2compared with ck from April to September. The concentration of compound leaf area suppression most significant are1600mg/kg、infusion0.6g/plant、soil dressing4.0g/plant, leaf area growth decline successively8.7cm2、8.0cm、3.2cm2compared with ck from April to September. Weight rate concentration of compound leaf area suppression most significant are leaf spray2000mg/kg、infusion1.0g/plant、soil dressing4.0g/plant, the rate increase successively0.82g/m2、0.75g/m2、0.17g/m2compared with ck from April to September. (3) PP333can restrain sprout length, and do nothing to its coarseness. Spraying2000mg/kg、infusion1.0g/plant、soil dressing4.0g/plant, spring sprout length decline successively1.14cm、1.78cm、0.37cm, while autumn sprout length increase successively3.52cm、3.72cm、2.00cm.(4) Different methods application have no effect on bud density and the rate of fruit set and fruit drop. bud density is almost20buds/m, and the rate of fruit set and fruit drop are successively23.0%~24.7%,6.9%~9.0%.(5) All the3methods can increase the promotion of walnut. The best concentration are successively leaf spray246g, infusion222g、soil dressing81g. Unit projected area yield increase successively leaf spray17.2g/m2、infusion16.0g/m2、soil dressing6.3g/m2.(6) A comprehensive evaluation of the results been carried out with the principal component analysis method,high to low isY4>S5>S4>Y5>Y3>Y2>S2>T5> S3> T4> T3>T2>S1>Y1> T1> Sck>Yck>Tck. Leaf spray1600mg/kg and infusion1.0g/plant are most methods to increase the promotion of walnut.
