Si Chuan San Tai county’s7years old Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’were selected as experiment materials. The accumulation of the requirement of cold and the practicality differences among≤7.2℃models,0~7.2℃chilling model and Utah model were under research. Water status, nutrients metabolism, anti-oxidation system and active oxygen metabolism were evaluated to study the dormant characteristic. Ziziphus jujubes were treated by covering and spraying. These treatments’results and physiological mechanism on the dormancy breaking were main research point of this research. The best method of breaking dormancy was selected to make the Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’mature early. The main results are as follows:1.Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’tree fall all leaves in early November and begin to enter dormancy. Deep dormancy comes in December and natural dormancy over and coming to forced dormancy in the next year early January. As accumulation of cold temperature accomplish in early January, cultivation or dormancy breaking pharmancy should be better at that time.2.According to<7.2%model,0-7.2℃chilling model and Utah model,the cold requirement of Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’are502h,494h and499C.U.Considering the natural environment of the growth conditions, especially the cancellation of the high temperature and the impact of the low temperature damage, the Utah model is the most suitable mode.3. With the deepening of the dormancy process, the total water and the free water were decreasing, the bound water,the bound water/the free water were increasing. At the release of dormancy, the statuses of water were changing in opposition to the deepening of dormancy process.4.With the deepening of the dormancy process, the content of soluble sugar and free amino acids in the buds branches were in jump-change. Soluble protein and starch were in down-change, at the release of dormancy various forms of substance were on the contrary. With the deepening of the dormancy, the content of POD,02--and MDA were increasing, SOD were decreasing, at the release of dormancy various forms of substance were on the contrary.5.Among the different pharmacy experimental, SA,GA3and KNO3did some function to the Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’’s inclusions and the activities of the enzymes. These treatments made Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’bud4-6days earlier. But there is no obvious effect among the three chemicals.6mmol/LSA did a good job at the treatment in salicylic acid,200mg/L GA3did a good job at the treatment in gibberellin,6%KNO3did a good job at the treatment in potassium nitrate.6.At different times of spraying, the effect is not the same. As the cold accumulation accomplish in the early January, the effect in end term(January30,2012) of dormancy is more obvious than that in the medium term (November28,2011) or early term(November6,2011)7.During the covering experimental, covering made Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’mature25-32days earlier. Different time comes different result. Covered in January16,2012> covered in December25,2011> covered in December5,2011. Covered in December5,2011were25days earlier, covered in December25,2011were28days earlier and covered in January16,2012were32days earlier.8.Found from the phenological period of investigation, material of breaking dormancy made Ziziphus jujube’Mizao’bud4-6days earlier. Covering made Ziziphus jujube ’Mizao’mature25-32days earlier. So covering did the best effect.
