T.Wei, an endangered species endemic to easternChina, is limited in distrbution to Tianmu Mountain and Dabie Mountain of the eastern China. P.subaequalis which could be a beautiful garden plant because of its exfoliating bark and gorgeous fallcolor is of huge market potential foreground and large developing prospects. In order to have a betterdevelopment and utilization of P. subaequalis, we have investigated its breeding technologies and theeffect of different formula fertilization on its cuttings growth. The results were as follows:1.The results showed that its seed shape was long spindle-shaped. The key factors for its seedgermination were methods of storage and temperature. The optimum method to promote seedgermination was that the seed was stored in sand at room temperature before the treatment of600mg L-1GA3solution and sprouted at the temperature aranged from20to25℃. Its germination rate canbe73.73%. Moderate light intensity may shorten the germination time and increase the germinability.2. The results showed that hormones could improve percentages of rooting. Mass concentration ofhormones and hormone treatment time have significant effect on cutting growth index. The bestpropagation condition was as follows: soaking3hours in solution of IBA with300mg kg-1.3. The results showed that the highest survival rate on drafting type is perennial branches withflower buds, and the length of perennial branches’s shoots is the longest. The highest survival rate ondrafting methods is Side grafting.4. Growth and Development Characteristics of P. subaequalis after using(1)Different concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium have significant effect onplant growth indexes compared with control. We found that N2P2K2ã€N3P2K2are the best treatmentcontrary to N0P2K2in each index. And the nitrogen is the most important element what effects plantgrowth, next is phosphorus and potassium.(2)It indicated that there was an obvious phenomenon of midday-depression. And based onvariance analysis, N2P2K2ã€N3P2K2is the best treatment combination for photosynthetic capacity. Thenitrogen is also the most important element what effects plant photosynthetic capacity.(3)Regression models were established and proper application amounts of nitrogen, phosphorusand potassium (urea:5.29~6.77g/pot, calcium superphosphate:6.75~13.17g/pot, potassium chloride: 3.02~3.45g/pot) for two-year-old P. subaequalis cuttings were calculated. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Parrotia subaequalis, seed, germination characteristics, cutting, formulafertilization | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
