In recent years, the demand on improving air quality of the house and office is increasingly high, which is solved by the means of flower planting by people who want to improve the home environment, however, among this gardening crowds, frequent travel and the lack of gardening experience bring about flowers death. Obviously, the demand of assistance on flower planting is very strong when owner is traveling or short of gardening experience, smart pot is needed which help owner to plant flower in market.The primary works in this thesis are presented as follows:1.Base on analyzing research significance of smart pot, this thesis elaborates the development and research status of current smart pot’s technology, focusing on application of things technology in the smart pots systems;2.Combined with pulse width modulation techniques, frequency domain reflection techniques and design principle of PID algorithm, and considering the needs of users, Modules are designed from the perception layer, network layer and application layer in the use of architecture and philosophy of the Internet of Things;3. This thesis focuses on the realization method of the perception layer and application layer. In the perception layer, the underlying hardware circuit is designed which consists of Cortext A8Processor and Cortext M3Processor as the main body and consists of soil moisture detecting circuit and PH value detection circuit as emphasis. In the application layer, a set of self-development web server is achieved based on android architecture, while emphasizing on the realization of smart flower pot task scheduling modules, PID algorithm module and plant expert database.4.This thesis shows the Android user interface and Web interface, while the key components of the system are tested and verified, including soil moisture accuracy testing, PID algorithm performance testing, system response time testing and Web compatibility testing.The system has been in use in part of the family and office, and numerous highly praise has been received at the exhibition. This system is stable and reliable since its operation so that it completely reaches the desired design goals, which has some practical significance to improve the home and office environment, while the results of research on this thesis provided certain reference for research in the field of intelligent agriculture.
