Application And Comparative Studies On Tobacco Growing Seedling In Shallow Water To Floating System

Along with the modern tobacco agriculture promoting continuously and tobacco production levels rising in XiangXi Autonomous Region, the usual floating seedling technique gradually exposed to many problems and insufficiency, can’t adapt to the new demand of development of the modern tobacco agriculture. This experiment,compared the tobacco floating seeding and seedling in the shallow water. Thinking by survey and analysis the growth period, agronomic trait and economic properties of tobacco seedlings, seedling in the shallow water is suitable for the needs of the development of modern agriculture of tobacco, it is a more advanced seedling technique. At the same time, in order to ensure that seedling in the shallow water technique in large area to promotion, we analysis and study the seed germination rate, key technology index and promoting technology and so on, the main results are as follows:(1) Comparative studies between growing seedling in the shallow water and floating system.The comparison results show that seedling in the shallow water than floating of the seedling stage1-7days in advance, to improve the germination rate of2.6to3.4%; Sprout after tobacco seedlings quality is good in the floating system; Tobacco leaf yield and output value slightly higher than that of floating system, improve2.15-9.4%and3.15-6.5%respectively; Smoking quality to achieve better grades. Compared with the floating system, cost of seedling in the shallow water is reduce, only seedling dish and nutrient solution are reduced ever mu by more than16.15yuan, saving44.1%; Water demand is only20%of the floating system, storage space and transport of seedling raising disk greatly decreases, and is only about5%of the floating system.(2) Study on the transplanting method of growing seedling in the shallow water.Under the normal situation, except for the seedlings recover slowly which never pouring water and no fertilizer when transplanting, take the method of pouring water and fertilizing when transplanting, or pouring water when transplanting and fertilizing five days later, which tobacco seedling surviving rate are high, and recover quickly.(3) Effect of demonstrate and promote. From2010-2012, three years is in six smoke production demonstration counties of a state, the popularization and application area reached74680mu, of which2006mu in2010,29700mu in2011,43980mu in2012. According to the statistic in2010-2012, a total production of new leaf tobacco is263018.2kg, the output value of new leaf tobacco reached4738863.8yuan, increase tax for local governments to947772.76yuan. Cost of state seedling was significantly reduced; seedling tray saved1.0605million yuan in three years. Reduce funds of the seedlings with fat and water to141000yuan;the cumulative may save seedling cost1.2015million yuan for the company and tobacco grower.
