Study And Synthetic Evaluation Of Flue-cured Tobacco Quality In Zunyi

Abstract/Summary:
Using discriminant analysis, bidirectional step selection, gray correlation analysis and multiple comparison methods, appearance quality, physical properties, chemical composition, aroma composition and sensory evaluation quality of153tobacco leaf sample test data from5tobacco areas in Zunyi Guizhou province in2011were identified. The main conclusions were as follows:(1) Comparison among the three different parts, the index scores of the upper leaves were higher than that of the middle leaves and higher than that of the lower leaves. Among the three different parts, there were significant differences in leaf structure and oil of appearance indicators.(2) Weight per leaf, leaf blade weight, pulling force, leaf thickness were increased with the location, and filling power contrarily was decreased. Stem ratio of the lower leaves was slightly higher. Equilibrium moisture contents of the middle leaves was higher and better than the upper leaves and the lower leaves.(3) Total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine, total nitrogen were increased with the location, and potassium contrarily was decreased. Among the three different parts, there were significant differences in sugar alkali ratio, potassium, total nitrogen, nitrogen alkali ratio of chemical indicators.(4) The neutral aroma components of Zunyi tobacco leaves were slightly higher than Brazilian tobacco leaves. The total contents of the other four classes of aroma components were mainly manifested as Zunyi lower than Brazilian tobacco leaves, besides neophytadiene.(5) Aroma quality, aroma of the middle leaves were best, followed by the upper leaves, and the lower leaves somewhat less.Among the three different parts, there were significant differences in aroma, irritation, return sweet somatosensory, the performance of huddle of sensory indicators.Sensory quality of the relationship with other quality factors analysis showed:color and aroma quality, mixed gas, finish and total score significantly correlated; maturity and aroma quality, mixed gas, aftertaste, irritating and scores were positively correlated, and with aroma quality, mixed gas and aftertaste reach a significant level.Thickness and miscellaneous gas significantly correlated; stem ratio and the aroma was a significant negative correlation; single leaf weight and mixed gas was a significant positive correlation; leaf quality weight and aroma quality, aroma, mixed gas, and scores were significantly correlated.Aroma and sugar and potassium was significantly positively correlated; miscellaneous gas and potassium and nitrogen was significantly positively correlated; irritation with nicotine and chlorine was significantly positively correlated with starch content was significantly negatively correlated; sensory quality score and nicotine, potassium was significantly positively correlated with chlorine showed a significant negative correlation.Tobacco aroma quality, aroma and sensory quality scores were closer relationships with the contents of phenylalanine, carotenoids and neophytadiene.(6) The lower leaves were mainly the third and the fourth kind cigarette materials; the middle leaves were mainly the second and the third kind cigarette materials; the upper leaves were mainly the fourth kind cigarette materials.(7) Among the three different parts, appearance quality, physical characteristics, sensory quality and integrated quality index were mainly manifested as the middle leaves better than that of the upper leaves and better than that of the lower leaves. The difference of Chemical composition index of Zunyi tobacco leaves was large. The upper leaves of Yuqing county, the middle leaves of Zhengan county and the lower leaves of Huairen city were best. The integrated quality index of Zhengan county and Huairen city were better.
