For nearly30years of practice has proved that Chinese herbal medicine used as poultry health care products, not only has the ability to enhance appetite and body resistance to disease, but also have the effect to quicken its weight increased significantly, improve the feed conversion, shorten the breeding period.Using"complex strong chicken powder "(Leguminosae, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Semen Arecae, Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, Allium sativum L., Glycyrrhizae r), the chicken(Caoke chicken) were divided into5groups, each group has100chicken, feed preparation according to routine. Group A, B, C add "complex strong chicken powder "by1.5%(15g/Kg),1%(10g/Kg),0.5%(5g/Kg)in the basic diet (feed); Control group D add36mg/kg antibiotics (including6mg/kg colistin sulfate and30mg/kg bacitracin zinc) in the basic diet feeding; Blank control group E based diet feeding. Test chicken immune health care programs are also the same.The chicken growth curve was recorded on an empty stomach with experimental chickens from1,21,70,100, and130days of age from each group according to body weight. The1-21d and22-42days’ feed intake, calculated daily gain, feed conversion rate was record respectively; On the day of the end of the test (130days of age)10chickens were randomly selected from each group, the whole net carcass rate, half chamber rate eviscerated rate, leg muscle rate, breast muscle rate, the determination of chest muscle pH value, shear force and nutrients was detected with all four measurement on an empty stomach; On the day of Test70d and130d,10chickens were randomLy took from each group, fasting weighing, slaughtering, immune organ index was calculated respectively. Test data using SPSS17.0to inspection, the results are expressed in the average standard deviation; Newcastle disease Ⅳ was vaccinated on the8d, and Newcastle disease seepage was used the method with subcutaneous injection on the10d. On the21d and42d,5chickens was randomly took from each group (12in each group), serum was isolated in blood, traces of blood hemagglutination inhibition (HI) method was used to determine the degree of Newcastle disease antibody.Study shows that adding different drugs on the growth of chicken feed has a role in promoting, the high dose group of the "complex strong chicken powder"was most apparent at the time of130days of age (p<0.05); Compared with the normal feeding group, adding antibiotics group and high dose"complex strong chicken powder" group was significantly increased chicken1-42d daily gain (P<0.05), high dose "complex strong chicken powder" group decreased chicken full-term feed weight ratio (P<0.05), and other groups has no significant difference (P>0.05); The slaughter rate, half eviscerated ratio, eviscerated ratio, leg muscle rate and the rate of chest muscle was increased by "Complex strong chicken powder" of high dose group, and difference was significant (p<0.05);The water loss rate, the rate of cooked meat, shear force and muscle fiber diameter was different from feeding "Complex strong chicken powder"with normal group, and high dose group was significant difference (p<0.05). The water loss rate, water rate and the rate of cooked meat has little changed, but the shear force and muscle fiber diameter was significant difference with feeding antibiotics (p<0.05); After feed High dose"complex strong chicken powder"the protein content of chicken was high, fat and ash content was less, the difference was significant (p<0.05). The difference of antibiotics group and ordinary group was small in protein and fat, but the ash content of antibiotics group increased obviously (p<0.05); The total amino acid (TAA)content of different feeding dose "complex strong chicken powder "chicken were86.65g/100g,85.94g/100g and 85.83g/100g, were higher than normal feeding group and feeding antibiotics, and antibiotics group of TAA, at least1.14%below normal feeding group,2.03%lower than the high dose group complex strong chicken powder; Relative feeding antibiotics group and normal breeding,"complex strong chicken powder"could rich calcium iron zinc content in the mountain chicken (p<0.05), antibiotics group of calcium and zinc content reduced obviously (p<0.05);"Complex strong chicken powder" chicken immune organ index was higher than normal breeding and feeding antibiotics group, high dose of "complex strong chicken powder"group of bursa of fabricius index and thymus index was significantly higher than ordinary breeding and feeding antibiotics group chicken (p<0.05), the difference of antibiotics group and normal feeding group was not significant; Within42days of age, high dose group "complex strong chicken powder"shows a strong increase in mountain Newcastle disease ability of antibody concentration, with oral antibiotics group and normal breeding group have significant difference (p<0.05).Above the experimental results show that, as one of common means to improve the performance of chicken growth, add the antibiotic to the feed (colistin sulfate+bacitracin zinc) can accelerate the growth of chicken, but the degree of tender and nutrition was decreased with antibiotics to the chicken. And the use of traditional Chinese medicine compound preparations-"complex and chicken powder", can not only accelerate chicken growth, at the same time can also make the chicken’s tender and nutrition degrees,,also can improve the immunity of the chicken.
