There are many speciesof great significance in controlling many pests especially in Coleoptera, Diptera and Blattaria. This dissertation treats3subgenus in Aprostocetus, with comparative morphological study,35of older records of Chinese species, named23species in chinese, a newspeciesfeeds within leafbuds and cones of Pinus massoniana, present one tentative key to Chinese Aprostocetus. What’smore, control of this new species is of great importance in Pinus massoniana’s pollenproduction. For each subgenus, a key to species has been provided. For each subgenus, general review, diagnosis and description, distribution records have been attached. For each species, synonymylist, specific diagnosis, description and host range, distribution records have been attached.Specimens of new species deposited in Department of Plant Protection, School of Agricultureand Food Science, Zhejiang A&F University.
