Eight half-sib families and sixteen full-sib families in the F2generation of the Patinopectenyessoensis were selected as the experimental material was created in2011for thisstudy.Randomly selected30individuals in each family when they are in the7-months,9-months,11-months,13-months.Measured their shell height, shell length, shell width and body weight. Itscorrelation analysis can be got which was shell height, shell length, shell width and bodyweight.What was repeatability, heritability,and genetic correlation were estimated.We should getthe rapid growth of families.Using the F2generation family as parents, established the F3generation family.Growth traits were analyzed whose planktonic larvae and develop stage larvaein F3generation family. The rapid growth of families were selected.It was analyzed of theinheritance of Japanese scallop of shell color.The main results are as follows:The results show that the maximum variation coefficient of body weight was37.40%-69.81%.The minimum variation coefficient of shell high was12.74%-22.77%.All thegrowth traits showed that space breeding greatly. Based on growth traits of the department ofcomparative analysis, we get shell height rapid growth of Py11-02, Py11-15pedigrees, shelllength rapid growth of Py11-02, Py11-03pedigrees, shell width rapid growth of Py11-2, Py11-3pedigrees, body weight rapid growth of Py11-02, Py11-15pedigrees. The obtained data wasanalyzed further. The results show correlation between shell height, shell length, shell width andbody weight had reached a significant level (p<0.01).Heritability estimated values ofPatinopecten yessoensis shell height, shell length, shell width and body weight were0.22-0.58,0.15-0.51,0.20-0.74,0.21-0.61.They were high or medium heritability. Genetic correlationbetween Shell high and body weight was0.908-0.984, between shell length and body weight was0.921-0.975, between shell width and body weight was0.946-0.981.All showed high correlation.The research can offer certain theoretical foundation to cultivate fine breeds of Patinopectenyessoensis.It was selected that20,24,28day old larvae determination of shell lengthPy13-18’s familyof shell length and shell height accumulation growth and growth rate are higher than otherfamilies. They were determined as fast growing family of planktonic period.In7-9months,Py13-03’s family and Py13-08’s family of4phenotypic characters of pedigreesaccumulation amount of growth and growth rate are higher than other families.They weredetermined as develop fast growth families.They were provided for breeding as materials.F3generation families nurturance stage larvae were selected in7-month. The proportion ofeach shell color was measured.Maple bay in the proportion was more than40%in Py13-13’s,Py13-12’s, Py13-15’s, Py13-6’s, Py13-9’s, Py13-7’s, Py13-16’s, Py13-20’s family.Especially,ThePy13-20’s family proportion was up to70%.They were provided as the materials and theoreticalbasis for cultivation the maple bay. Compared growth traits of different shell color Patinopecten yessoensis, white shell had obvious growth advantage.
