Along with the advance of modern information technology, people have enteredinto the era of informatization.Information technology as a new productive factorplays an important role in people’s lives.Information technology is combined withagricultural production, and gradually formed a new technology, It is definded asagricultural information technology.The wide application of agricultural informationtechnology in agricultural production, will be the21st century agricultural scienceand technology brings a new wave, it will greatly accelerate the constructive processof modern agriculture, promotes the rapid development of agricultural economy.Environmental monitoring and management of agriculture is an important basisof agricultural informationization, it has provided the safeguard for the improvementof agricultural environment, in terms of water saving, energy saving, improve cropyields play an important role.Farmland with large area and low concentration rate, aremote distributed characteristics, therefore, the cable communication network isdifficult to fully meet the needs of data acquisition and transmission.With the rapiddevelopment of information technology, electronic technology,wireless communicat-ion technology is applied in the field of agricultural monitoring will be a goodchoice, application prospect is very broad.This paper introduces the application and development of the remote monitoringsystem domestic and abroad.The purpose and content of the research were alsogiven. A temperature measuring and controlling scheme was put forward aimed atthe measurement,transmission and control of temperature Data in greenhouse andthe hardware circuit and the flow chart of system were also given.System hardwareis divided into three parts:DS18B20temperature measurement part,the temperaturecontrol part, PC and SCM communication interface circuit,PC and wirelesstransmitting module section.In the term of software part,the programme of the datacollection part and control part were programmed using the C language. The PCserial communication technology is used to connect Microcontroller with PC tostabilize the communications. GPRS network has been more mature after years of development.The introductionof GPRS mobile communications network teehnology into greehouse productionand the combination of GPRS network and monitoring system has a very goodprospect.SMS messaging program of the temperature information was developedbased on GPRS network In order to control temperature of the greenhouse by theway of GPRS network and the reliability, confidentiality of the transmission werealso researched in this paper.The system consists of two parts named monitoringcenter and central station.Monitoring station at the heart of the formed based onZigBee wireless sensor network, the realization of function is data acquisition,send.Central station is the core of the computer host, the realization of the functionis data reception, storage, forwarding.Based on the above technology, the building of the greenhouse temperaturemonitoring and control system, realize the greenhouse temperature informationacquisition, transmission and control, completes the system debugging, and the dataresults are also analyzed. The results show that the overall system operation is stableand reliable.In this system, mainly using the low-cost microcontroller and message modulerealized the original thought "monitoring center" of the mobile target.All of this is ofgreat significance inreducing the labor intensity of production, improving equipmentefficiency,extending equipment life,inereasing the effieiency of production and theoutput rate of resoureces,reducing the adverse influence on agricultural productionby natural environment deterioration and it also will be very important in realizingsustainable development of greenhouse crop production.
