China is one of the countries that have more abundant species resources in theworld. At the same time, there are many rare and endangered plants. Due tocomplexity and diversity of natural conditions,There are a large number of rare andendangered plant species in Gansu province.This research amends and supplementsLatin name, the main distribution of rare and endangered plant through collecting lotsof rare and endangered plant in Gansu province.The auther chooses one50representative species as the evaluation object. And the auther Put forwards thecoefficient of endangerment, the coefficient of Habitation, the coefficient ofreproduction and coefficient of value as the main evaluation index,10secondaryincluding species distribution, species structure, scientific research.etc. The researchevaluates endangered degree by the endangered value consisting of speciesdistribution and species structure and also evaluates the protection class by the valueof Priority for conservation consisting of4main evaluation index.The evaluationresults are basically agreement with the and the analysis of "the key protected wildplants list of china","the rare and endangered plants list of china" and "the red bookof plant in china", but there are also different.1.3species fall into the critical endangered,occupying6%of the totle to beevaluated.13species are listed in the endangered, occupying26%and thevulnerable endangered are13species, occupying26%.21species fall into thecritical endangered,occupying42%of the totle2.5species fall into the first conservation class,occupying10%of the totle to beevaluated.37species are listed in the second conservation class,occupying74%.8species belong to the third conservation class occupying16%of the totle.On this basis, the author puts forward some suggestions for protection.
