In this study, twelve traits of60Hezuo pigs were measured includingphysiological, biochemical and immunological indicators. The research aimed atexploring the characteristics of physiological, biochemical and immunologicalindicators included the level of total white blood cell count,eosinophil, leucocyteneutrophil,lymphocytes and monocyte,lymphocyte transformation rate,creatinekinase,glutamate pyruvate transaminase,glutamic-oxal(o)acetic transaminase, IgG,IFN-γ, IL-12,total protein,albumin,globulin,A/G. And IFN-γ gene was cloned byRT-PCR, the cDNA was cloned and sequenced which structure of its encoding proteinwere predicted by using DNAStar software.The results showed that the total white blood cells, the level of lymphocytes andIgG in the serum were higher than the normal range of domestic breeds. However, thelevels of eosinophil, leucocyte neutrophil, monocytes and serum globulin were lowerthan the normal range. Other indicators were in the normal range.Sequence analysis results showed that the IFN-γ gene ORF was501bp andencoded166amino acids, including a signal peptide of23amino acids(aa) at the Nterminal. Relative molecular weight of the encoding protein was19.4185kD,and theisoelectric point (pI) was9.54. There were9phosphorylation sites including7Sers、1Thr and1Tyr.In addition,2N-glycosylation sites were found at Asn about39th and106th in the line.The experimental results provide basic data for further study of the Hezuo pig.
