Environmental education is a practice process which aims to spread the knowledge of theenvironment and environmental skills to people, enhance their environmental awareness andinduce implementation of environmental action in a variety of ways. There is an urgent demandfor environmental education in our country where the forest tourism is advancing vibrantly.Found deficiencies and exploited potentials existing in the construction of environmentaleducation system in domestic forest parks presently based on the analysis of current researchon environmental education for forest park and utilize references on related experience, andconducted theoretical research which applied to the forest park. Designed and planned theenvironmental education system for forest park combined with the visitor survey and siteanalysis of case study.Based on domestic and international theory and practice studies, this article advanced aframework of Forest Park Environmental Education System, outlined ethics, experience andknowledge as three-main content rang. Listed possible forms and means for environmentaleducation manifestations and proposed forest park environmental education system planningframework which is constituted by trail-site layout planning, experience activities design andenvironmental interpretation system planning. According to the investigation from two aspectsof environmental literacy survey and visitor-will survey, public demand for Forest Parkenvironmental education was given. The result shows the public has three main problemswhich are a contradiction between environmental awareness and environmental behaviorconsciousness, the need of thorough understanding about regional culture and specificecosystem, and the need for natural experience of youth. In the end, the article took Mt. QiNational Forest Park in Fuzhou as an example that planning an overall EnvironmentalEducation system program. |
