Ginkgo biloba came of three hundreds million years ago. It is an antiquity plant leaving behind lonely same age as dragon in existing gymnosperm now. This species is widespread and has long planting history in PiZhou area. It is important for ornamental all over the world. This GIS is developed on the basis of the Ginko Forest Park in PiZhou by using the programming language Visual Basic, the ActiveX of MapObjects, GIS software MapInfo and ArcView, and the other supporting software is the first application among the kind of special park. Through the implementation of this local GIS, the integrated management, query between spatial and attribute data, the output of thematic maps and statistics tables can be achieved. In general, this GIS has following functions:(1) To display pictures and accurately orientation;(2) To provide a few of query functions such as from attribute data to spatial data and from spatial data to attribute data;(3) To provides thematic maps outputting function;(4) To analysis spatial data including geometric superposition and buffer zone;(5) To output Crystal reporting tables;.(6) To make planning outcome in computer become convenience to save, repair and manage, and print all kinds of scale maps according to our needs.Analytical Hierarchy Process is adopted to analyze the planning outcome according to four guidelines and eight landscapes in this paper. It is shown that the value of landscape resource on the guideline level is very important in the planning, and PI-Ancient Ginkgo Landscape spot is the first important and P7-Ai Mountain Beauty spot is the second in the eight Landscape spots. The conclusion provides theoretical basis for this forest park about ecological environment protection, development, management and construct in the future. We have done benefit analysis from economy, ecology and society. It shows the benefit of the park goes up remarkably, and it will run very well since the park will have been constructed.
