Using healthy swine’s spleen as raw materials, this study prepared transfer factor in swine’sspleen by ultrafiltration and did related quality inspection on the transfer factor in swine’sspleen.Further, the transfer factor in swine’s spleen being used as immunopotentiator, itsimmune effect on the vaccine of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome wasobserved. The results showed that the solution of transfer factor in swine’s spleen preparedby the optimal number of freezing and thawing met the national drug standards of thesolution of transfer factor, the external property of which appeared pale yellow, clear liquidwith light fishy smell; its pH was6.5; it did not contain macromolecular proteins; itsmaximum absorption wavelength was251nm; its ratio between A251:A280was2.28; itscontent of polypeptide was8.09mg/mL and that of ribose was255.5ug/mL. Incomparison with the control group, which was immunized by the exclusive use ofinactivated vaccine of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, the test group whichwas immunized by the inactivated vaccine of porcine reproductive and respiratorysyndrome with a dose of2mg/per of the solution of transfer factor in swine’s spleenprepared by ourselves showed a significant improvemen(tP<0.01)in the immune effect oninactivated vaccine of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(NVDC-JXA1strain).
