Xinjiang Cerasus tianschanica Pojark also named Qiya in kazak language. It is distributes only inXinjiang province Yili area, belongs to treasured Species in tertiary period and will be closed toderacination, so Cerasus tianschanica is often called "living fossil" in Xinjiang wild fruit tree. Based on theresearch the paper illustrates the resource evaluation on Xinjiang Cerasus tianschanica Pojark and providessome advice on developing utilization as well as providing the theories for culture and relative research. The main results are as follows:1. The flowering and fruitsetting phenophase of Xinjiang Cerasus tianschanica Pojark need about100-130days, The best arbitrary distribution altitude of Cerasus tianschanica Pojark is1100-1470meter,the highest altitude is1470meter. Study on Botany feature demonstrates Cerasus tianschanica Pojarkshoud be shrub.Generally, It’s tree crown is semicircler or conical, skill of turning into principal stress isvery strong. Besides, the length and width of leaf shows significant correlation. The survey about livingenvironment of Cerasus tianschanica Pojark prefers to illumination which it that mainly distributed insunny slope,it belongs to thermophilic warm and cool moist tree pecies.Further analysis of the ecologicaladapatability and resource utilization of Cerasus tianschanica Pojark discloses, it’s high scientific valueand ornamental value.2.The dormant branches of Cerasus tianschanica, Cerasus tomentosa, Prunus triloba and Prunusdivaricata were used as test materials, the penertrating rate of electrolyte, the germination rate, the prolinecontent and the MDA content four cold resistance indexes under different low-temperatures treatment ck(-15℃),-18℃,-21℃,-24℃,-27℃,-30℃,-33℃,-36℃,-39℃and-42℃were determined by usingartificial freezing temperature. The semi-lethal temperature(LT50)was obtained on the basis of conductivityand logistic equation and the indexes of four cold resistance were analysised by pricinpal component.Theresults showed that the penertrating rate of electrolyte were increased as temperature decreased, thesemi-lethal temperature ranged from-25.3℃to-40.1℃, this corresponded well with the regrowth test. Thefree Pro content changed significantly with the cold resistance but the MDA content had no relationshipwith the cold resistance. The abilities of cold resistance was listed as Cerasus tianschanica> Prunustriloba> Cerasus tomentosa> Prunus divaricata.3.A comparative study of the different water-stress of Cerasus tianschanica and Prunus divaricatawere carried out, according to the four main physiological indexes including the relative tissue watercontent, electrolyte permeate rates, proline content and soluble sugar content of leaves under naturaldrought method. The results showed as follows: Both of two kind of wild fruit tree under different degreeof water stress, along with the time of water stress, the relative tissue water content decreased; electrolytepermeate rates increased; Proline content continued to increase, the soluble sugar content showedincreasing first and then decreasing. We holds that the Cerasus tianschanica Pojark has strongerdrought-resistant ability than Prunus divaricata by comprehensive evaluation.
