| The silver nitrate method of Grimelius were used to comparative study thedistributed density and morphology of argentaffine cells in digestive tract of Ranachensinensi during pre-hibernation, hibernation and post-hibernation. The results wereshown as follows: The argentaffine cells could be observed throughout the digestivetract of Rana chensinensi during pre-hibernation, hibernation and post-hibernation. Theargentaffine cells were found in between epithelial cells, at the basal region of epithelialcell, between glandular epithelial cells, density peaked in the period is not exactly thesame, the highest density in the pylorica part of stomach in pre-hibernation andpost-hibernation,the highest density in the stomach of hibernation, the configuration ofthe argentaffine cells in digestive tract of Rana chensinensi in hibernation period wassimilar to that in non-hibernation period, were mainly cone-shape and ellipse, accordingto the morphology of the argentaffine cells, we suggested that argentaffine cells in thegastrointestinal tract had endocrine, exocrine and paracrine functions.Using the anti-5-HT serum, anti-SS-serum, anti-GAS-serum, anti-GLU-serum,anti-PP-serum and anti-SP-serum by the method of ABC (avidin-biotin compex method)immunhistochemical technique to observe the endocrine cells in the digestive tract ofRana amurensis during pre-hibernation, hibernation and post-hibernation. The resultsindicated that5-HT cells,SS cells and GAS cells were detected in the digestive tract ofRana chensinensi during pre-hibernation, hibernation and post-hibernation.GLU cells were only found in the pylorica part of stomach in pre-hibernation andthe stomach in post-hibernation,no immunoreactivity was observed with the antisera togastrin, PP cells and SP cells.the endocrine cells were brown and backgrounds wereblue.The5-HT positive immunoreactive cells could be observed throughout thedigestive tract of Rana chensinensi during pre-hibernation, hibernation andpost-hibernation, from esophagus to rectum. And the distributive density of5-HT cellswere the highest in the pylorica part of stomach. SS cells distributed widely, SS cellscould be observed from esophagus to ileum of Rana amurensis during pre-hibernation,hibernation and post-hibernation,except the rectum. the highest density in the cardiac part of stomach in pre-hibernation and in the pylorica part of stomach inpost-hibernation,and the highest density in the cardiac part of stomach and pylorica partof stomach in hibernation. The distributive modes were different from each other ofGAS cells. GAS cells were found in the cardiac part of stomachã€stomachã€Jejunum toRectum in pre-hibernation,and the highest density in the stomachï¼›GAS cells werefound in the cardiac part ofstomachã€stomachã€Jejunum and Ileum in hibernation, andthe highest density in the stomachï¼›GAS cells were found in the cardiac part ofstomachã€stomach Duodenum to Rectum in post-hibernation,and the highest density inthe cardiac part of stomach. The shape of endocrine cells was diverse and they weremainly cone-shape and ellipse besides them, there were round andshuttle-shaped.According to the morphology of the endocrine cells, we suggested thatendocrine cells in the gastrointestinal tract had endocrine, exocrine and paracrinefunctions. |
