There axe two flue-cured tobacco varieties of Jiyan9and Jiyan10as experimental material in Jilin province in this research, through observation and measure changes in different parts of different leaf maturity characteristics and chemical components of tobacco, mature process of two flue-cured tobacco varieties were studied deeply. The results show that, Two different varieties of Flue-cured Tobacco Maturity leaf its external characteristics:lower Ye Hongkao both before and after the mature characteristics of60days of age most best, middle Ye Hongkao both before and after the65days of age were the best performance before and after the mature, upper leaves during curing were70days old were the best mature. Two varieties of flue-cured tobacco baking economic character of tobacco leaves:the lower leaves60days of age the best comprehensive performance; the leaves of middle leaves65days of age the best comprehensive performance; the leaves of upper leaves of70days of age the best comprehensive performance.The chemical composition of two varieties of flue-cured tobacco upper, middle, lower leaves were increased with leaf age and change, the content of total sugar, reducing sugar and nicotine increased firstly and then decreased,the content of total nitrogen was decreased. The content of nicotine and total nitrogen of baking leaf is less than fresh tobacco leaf, but the total sugar and reducing sugar are more in baking leaf. The tobacco to mature process, the chemical composition of internal coordination, appropriate content, content is higher among total sugar, reducing sugar and nicotine, total nitrogen content and protein decreased, aroma and good quality, good economic value and use value.According to the comprehensive analysis of the index data of two flue-cured tobacco varieties, different parts of the leaves,two main flue-cured tobacco varieties of JiYan9and JiYan10in lower leaves the optimal harvest age ranged from60to65days, that is79to84days after transplanting growth stage.The middle leaves harvest age ranged from65to70days,that is95to100days after transplanting growth stage.The upper leaves harvest age ranged from70to75days,The middle leaves harvest age ranged from65to70days,that is116to121days after transplanting growth stage.Two varieties can extend the lengthening of the baking time yellow time15hours can greatly reduce content of carbohydrate and starch in tobacco leaves after baking.
