Development of information technology promote agricultural modernization,and an important direction of the agricultural modernization is facility agriculture.The aquaculture industry is an important part of China’s agricultural and livestock production,information technology and automation is imperative for the development of aquaculture.Relying on the public welfare industry research projects of the Ministry of Agriculture,Research and Demonstration in the Key Technologies of Animal Welfare Farming System,according to the breeding sows environment and current situation of the feeding,in the full study related theory and summarizes previous research results,and independent design and developed the set of limit column sows fed automatic control system.Comprehensive analysis of the development status of livestock automatic feeding technology and equipment firstly,to determine the basic needs of sows fed automatic control device.According to analysis studies to the overall system design process, the overall program of the sows fed automatic control system is determined,and from both hardware and software are designed and implemented.System is designed based on low-cost,high reliability principles.Hardware module with a mature development environment,low-cost single chip AT8952for the control of the core of the device hardware. Software design with three-tier architecture of Interface/Business Logic/Data Manipulation,integrated use the Socket communication technology,databases,video surveillance technology,and use.NET development platform and SQL Server2005back-end database management system,based on software engineering ideas to achieve the right the pigsty information collection and video monitoring.The control devices,surveillance cameras,communication mechanisms and server of designed information management system can coordinate steady work and meet the design requirements.Some of the features of the system has been put into use in the Nanjing Agricultural College Jiangpu farm.Effective software testing and the actual use of the staff indicate that the system has strong stability and the science of human-computer interaction.
