At most mountainous areas in China, the traditional transportation tools, such as unicycle and cart, are still used. The transportation tools have so many weaknesses, such as high labor intensity and low production efficiency. With the development of agricultural transport equipment, people are beginning to explore a new kind of transport equipment named dual-powered two-wheel vehicle to resolve the transportation problems in the mountainous areas. The new invention has many strengthens, such as convenient operation, labor-saving, wide application and so on.This paper introduces the current situations and development trend about agricultural transport equipments from the domestic to the foreign in details. According to agricultural transportation problems in the mountainous regions, the dual-powered two-wheel vehicle is the solution to solve the problems in the narrow road, especially in the orchard transportation. Batteries and the engine which has a ISG generator are the power sources, which could drive the brushless DC motor to operate, moving the vehicle forward. The sensor on the handle could detect human’s force. Through the control system, motor speed is controlled in order to fulfill electric power. Power-assisted system of dual-energy electric Two-wheel trolley was designed and researched in this paper. Concerning hardware circuit of control system of the two-wheel vehicle, dsPIC30F2010chip manufactured by the Microchip Company is used as the main control chip. Intelligent Power Module named IKCS12F60F2A manufactured by Infineon is the important part. The main function of the system is to control the brushless DC motor’s speed according to operating requirements. As far as hardware circuits concerning, the main circuits, current sensing circuit is designed. And anti-interference circuit is done to guarantee the system controller’s stability and reliability. The design of software include the main program, motor commutation and speed control program, current detection program, and change of power source program.The tests demonstrate that:The invention nearly could fulfill the designed functions. According to different loads in the experiments, so many data about power-assisted had been recorded and analyzed. The results show that the vehicle operated stably and correctly and the vehicle’s speed is moderate. The change of two different power source is stable, which make it very convenient to apply the invention, and every parameters reached the standards, which demonstrated that control system is reliable and stable. The invention achieved the design goals basically.
