High-speed train usually refers to the train which speed is above200km/h. It is a majorvehicle designed to carry large numbers of passengers and it has high speed and comfortable.However, fires on it often result in huge human losses and injuries due to its high speed, highintensity of passengers,closed space and much combustible and so on. Fire prevention ofhigh-speed train is very difficult.This article use CRH1high-speed train as the research object,analysis on fire power andsmoke movement of high-speed train by using literature review, field research, theoreticalanalysis and numerical simulation. This paper first introduced the present research situation offire smoke control in high-speed train, analysis the fire reasons, characteristics,fireharmfulness of high-speed train and the difference from ordinary train. Body structure andlayout of train and parameters of interior decoration materials for combustion performance aredetermined by field research.Then find out fire power of high-speed train by theoreticalanalysis,finally,according to different speed and different ventilation set15fire scenarios.Simulate fire temperature, visibility and fire spreading situation in high-speed train carriageby FDS,test different points temperature and visibility.Determine high-speed train fire power and summarize smoke movement process bytheoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The results of this research can providetheoretical and technical reference of fire power and smoke control scheme for high-speedtrain.
