Comprehensive Park is an important part of urban green space system,which is also animportant green infrastructure closely related to our daily lives. It has comprehensivefunction,wide radiation rangeand and plays an important role in improving thecityenvironment, enhancing the quality of landscape of city, enriching people’s lives and improvingthe quality of life.Beijing has great advantage in comprehensive park and great value inresearch. We need focus on the development process of Beijing urban comprehensive park andsum up experience of the research.Then we could seek the right development strategy for thefuture.This paper analyzes the development process of Beijing city comprehensive park with amacro perspective. The political factors, economic factors, cultural factors and the whole citysocial background are given overall consideration,so the evolution process of Beijing citycomprehensive park can be grasped fully. By considering the time node, the historical stageand the evolution situation we could straighten out the evolution process in managementmechanism, planning design, spatial characteristics, and function orientation.According to the characteristics of comprehensive park process,this dissertation analyzesthe development process and the characteristics of each stage.
