Beijing North Central Historic District’s Environmental Research And Design

The protection of traditional culture in North Central Historic District is a subject thatseems eternal and old but in actual new and challenging. China is a country who has a longhistory and culture, as this, nowadays we have countless historical and cultural cities. Forexample, Beijing is a long history and cultural city, the historical and cultural district inBeijing s central axis is rich in history and culture, and here also inherited thousands of yearsof history and culture. With the rapid development of economic over the past few decades,Beijing s urbanization is faster and faster. Also, with the rapid transformation of our country seconomy and the rapid development of Beijing s city construction, the contradiction betweenthe effectively protection of the North Central Historic District and the development ofBeijing s modernization is becoming more and more fierce. Thus, how to effectively protectand develop the historical block is the research direction of this study.The purpose is toprotect the traditional historical style and features of the north axis of historical and culturalblocks and to carry them forward.Firstly, the paper is to study the importance and the necessity of the north axis of historicblocks protection, followed by analysis and research the methods that domestic and abroadhow to protect historic blocks, then obtains how to update and how to protect the content andthe mode of the historic district s environmental landscape update, and finally deeply putforward into the renewal and the development of Beijing North Central Historic District senvironment. The paper based on field investigation on the North Central Historic District,analyses and summarizes the existing problem, and then put forward the research method andthe feasibility of the design protection design of north axis of historic blocks. Also, the papersummarizes the methods of protect and renewal the construction and non-material cultural aswell as the principle of North Central Historic District s landscape environment conservationand renewal. Through a series of comparison, analysis, summary, the paper put forwardcountermeasures for protect and renewal of landscape environment of Historic District innorth central axis. The research starts from the protection of the following aspects such asbuilding, environment, transportation, population, street space of Houhai area, the streetoutside Dianmen and Nanluogu Lane street, point out the existing problems of North CentralHistoric District, proposes some methods and measures from architecture, culture,infrastructure, tourism economic, social factors fields. Do deep investigation of the traditionalstyle, material form of north central axis key areas, in order to enhance the design scheme ofthe executable, and to meet the requirements of the development of historical,thus, can carryforward the traditional culture.
