The PVA fiber reinforced tailings cementitious composites are made of tailingsand, the flyash and PVA fiber and so on. It has the advantage of environmentalprotection and high toughness. The composites will make full use of mining tailing, flyash and other industrial waste, and reduce their production cost. Compression test, direct tensile test, bend test, impact test, corrosion test and freeze-thaw test andpermeability test on The PVA fiber reinforced tailings cementitious composites hascompleted in this thesis.(1) Preparation and mixing ratio of the PVA fiber reinforced tailings cementitiouscomposites. The test show that the suitable ratio of fiber content is26kg/m3and thesuitable length of fiber is12mm.(2) The replacement rate of substitution is40%~60%by the basic mechanicalproperties.(3) Effect of fiber length on compressive, tensile properties, flexural and impactproperties had studied. The bending capacity of the composites is calculated by ASTMC1018,and the results show that the PVA fiber reinforced tailings cementitiouscomposites are ductile materials.(4) Corrosion-resistance, frost-resistance, impermeability had studied used PVAfiber. The experimental results show that the composites surface is integrity, qualityloss is only2%~6%after250freezing and thawing cycle is complete, the compressivestrength was reduced to20%.This study provides a reference for engineering application of PVA fiberreinforced tailings cementitious composites.
