Healing garden as a new form of garden, this garden in the western developed countrieshave developed mature, and the research and application in our country is still at the primarystage. The design concept of the healing garden consist with our country advocated"people-oriented" core values, therefore, this kind of design methods can draw lessons from isapplied to the construction and development of the urban landscape.In today’s society, thespeeding pace of life, the big pressure of work, a series of problems such as deterioration ofurban environment pollution gradually caused directly or indirectly, to people’s physical health,people begin to realize that the natural environment to the human body beneficial effect.However, at present in our country, the construction of the healing garden mainly concentratedin treatment of institutions such as hospitals, nursing homes, such limits its widely benigndevelopment.Therefore, this paper is based on the current development status of healing garden toexplore, build the Landscape design technique of the healing garden which can help peoplerecover, in order to apply to a broader field of design. This paper analyzes the development andsituation of healing garden, classification, characteristics and the design key points oflandscape elements, and analyses the different landscape design principles of differentapplicable people. Based on the above research, this paper concludes that the healing gardendesign should not be confined to medical facilities, also should be integrated into the urbanpublic green space, only clearly in understanding China’s basic national conditions under thepremise, can be suitable for rehabilitation landscape pattern of benign development in ourcountry; And rehabilitation of landscape effect should not be confined to assist patients recoverat an early date, should be to help patients to prevent disease.
