With the development of China’s urbanization, the traffic and transportation of the city has made considerable progress, but the lagging of urban hub planning and construction have a serious impact on the integrated transport network to play it’s overall effectiveness. Over the past years,when our contry was working on the hub planning, we made some mistakes, like we paid more attation to the inside construction of the hub, and contempted the convergence of the hub and it’s peripheral net work, leading to the irrational convergence of the hub and the surrounding road network, hub resources are not fully utilized, so that China’s urban transportation hub get disordered.In response to these problems, the main purpose of this study is to explore the urban public transport hubs, especially in the convergence of daily transfer amount to20million or more matching hubs with the surrounding road network problems.Firstly, we determin the influence scope of hub area and classify the roads.By obtaining satellite images of15domestic and foreign public transfer hub area through Google Earth, this paper analyzes the characteristics of road network around the transfer hub.On this basis, this paper select different network price index,establish road network evaluation system, and use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the23public transport hubs with their surrounding road network. In conjunction with the surrounding road network and actual operating conditions, we give some reasonable reference range as suggestions of road network indicatorsurrounding public transport hub. Finally, the evaluation system is used in public transport hubs in Beijing Xizhimen specific cases, from the angle of road network we analyze the operating characteristics of road traffic surroundingthe hubs.The first of the main research results is:scope of the affected area of the hub is defined with different specification.Second is to get a large number of road network structure surrounding domestic and international public transportation hub. Finally, the evaluation index system about the convergence of public transport hubs and their surrounding road network is given.In the actual construction of urban public transport hubs, the paper gives a suggestive reference range for the surrounding road network indicators, thus, corresponding transformation can be done during the actual construction process on the road network surrounding the hubs, avoiding the traffic increases brought by the hub construction, corresponding reduction in theroad congestionof the important nodes name hubs area overall urban road network.
