At this stage for building electrical system fault processing method, still basically rely on manual work to find the reason. Therefore, in this paper the intelligent fault diagnosis method of building electrical system is introduced, on the basis of the building electrical system failure simulation platform technology, this paper is carried out the following work:Considering the typical fault samples in the building operation environment data acquisition is very limited, so the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm is used in this paper, and the fault diagnosis model is established by using the data of building electrical fault simulation hardware experimental platform.5kinds of faults on the system status diagnostic classification, the total misjudged number of simulation result is0. Compared with artificial neural network diagnosis, the study results are shown that SVM diagnosis is effective under the condition of small sample, classification of nonlinear mapping and generalization ability is better. And a new fault classification method based on compressed sensing theory is also presented. The proposed fault classification method boils down to the problem of representing a testing sample as a sparse linear combination of the training samples.5different fault statuses on the system were diagnosed by using support vector machine,l1classifier and l2classifier, respectively. It is shown that our method of using sparse representation can achieve good diagnostic results.In this paper an electrical fault simulation platform for the re-development of structure, strong power systems, weak systems and lighting systems is also built. Introduce the experimental system of the platform in detail, including data acquisition system design, fault setting method, experimental project etc. And fault diagnosis software system is designed by using MATLAB/GUI programming, and implements intelligent fault diagnosis function.Finally, by comparing with the system and the introduced one, it is contributed to lay the foundation for the subsequent engineering application as the research of laboratory stage.
