| The development of rapid prototyping technology has caused the manufacturingindustry wave. The stereo lithography (SL) technology is the most well-researched, themost mature and the most wide spread rapid prototyping technology. This technology hasobtained the wide spread application in various areas such as design visualization,functional testing, reducing the product updating cycle, enhancing the competitive powerconcerned market. But the qualities of prototyping parts are difficult to improve. Limit thepractical application and popularization. So this paper study on SL technology process andcontrol measures of prototype quality and the main work and procedures are as followed:(1) The principle, application, assortment of SL is totally introduced in this paper andalso introduces the prototype machine as well as the component and property ofphotosensitive resin is illustrated. Above all is the foundation for the paper;(2) The factors that influenced the quality of prototyping are theoretically analyzedand determined in this paper, based on the three stages of SL, Pre-Processing, physicalfabrication, post-processing, are given;(3) The warpage of prototype and the elliptic distortion of columned side holeaffecting the shape accuracy are importantly studies in this paper, and the success processand quality control measures are proposed;(4) The over cure along the build-direction affecting the dimension accuracy isimportantly studies in this paper, and the optimum measures are proposed;(5) The stair-step effect affecting the surface accuracy is studied experimentally in thispaper, and success process and quality control measures are proposed.This paper studies on optimizing the rapid prototyping technology parameters andcontrolling factors that affect the prototype quality, and propose the quality controlmeasures. Therefore, the paper has some practical value and guideline. |
