With the development of China’s strategic reserves of crude oil, crude oil storage gradually to turn the development, construction of underground water sealed oil stone cave has been gradually.In order to break the foreign monopoly operation of underground storage equipment, we use underground water sealed rock cavern project for the localization of research and development work on the submerged pump.This paper is submerged pump similar products on the international technical characteristic analysis, domestic technology target, design research, manufacturing difficulties and solutions, prototype identification problems, with emphasis on the submersible pump structure design, hydraulic design and CFD simulation, rotor dynamics analysis, strength calculation, rotor deflection calculation, the temperature rise of the motor control the key technology, focuses on the brief description, and the localization of submerged pump achievements. Through the research of this topic, the localization of oil pump submerged obtained certain result, reached the world advanced level of similar products.
