The Development Of Controller Based On Stellaris Ware Graphics Library Inside The Elevator Car

In recent years, with the development of embedded technology, the elevator controltechnology also gains rapid growth. Moreover, with the emergence of touch screen andmature of its related technology, it gains popularity and has been widely used in all walksof life. Most of the traditional elevator-monitors are based on LED, whose display contentis monotonous and limited. While the display system for the building ads inside theelevator is always an independent and costly advertising machine. Therefore, with thetouch screen and embedded technologies, better quality can be obtained by designing anddeveloping a suit of elevator-car controller which has floor-display and-touch choice.In this paper, the design of elevator-car controller based on the StellarisWareGraphics Library mainly consists of two aspect, i.e., hardware and software designs. Forthe hardware design, take the embedded ARM7microprocessor LPC2478as the core,design the flat plate type unit, LCD touch circuit, CAN communication interface, andextend the TFT-LCD display, LCD touch function and external memory function, toestablish an complete embedded hardware platform. For the software design, firstly, drivea flat panel display and transplant the embedded image module StellarisWare to designman-machine interactive and multimedia interface. Secondly is the software design oftouch screen, including positioning location of touch point, setting of user input and drive,respondance to the user events and update of display interface. Finally, in the aspect ofcommunication, CAN communication is utilized to achieve a real-time and reliablecommunication between the elevator-car controller and other controller units.The controller designs a simple, easy, nice touch-interactive and multimedia nterface,a reliable and stable CAN communication, and a clear-image and high-quality display, andthus is preferable for high-end elevator.
