The modification of truck-mounted concrete pump’s chassis is based onthe general truck. On the one hand, the transmission system of truck-mountedconcrete pump plays a transfer vehicle movement and torque role on driving,at on the other hand, it drives assembly of oil pumps to make sure the systemof hydraulic system. Because of the structure of transmission and transfercase, the phenomenon of vibration can’t be avoided, so it has an importanteffort on the vehicle ride comfort, easiness and power train component’s life.So it is necessary to research deeply on the characteristics of vibration oftransfer case transmission system. Through some experiments of completevehicle, we can get the characteristics of vibration of transmission system.Make use of the virtual prototyping and FEM(Finite Element Method)technique to simulate the transmission system of truck-mounted concretepump, and then, make some tries to improve the layout of the transmissionsystem. The main contents are as follows:(1) Theoretical analysis. The kinematics and dynamics characteristics ofLardan University joint and the more universal shaft are analyzed, and thelateral load of the support of transmission shaft analyzed, that offers gist to thedynamics analysis of the transmission system of the truck-mounted concretepump.(2) The test analysis of the complete vehicle driveline. According to thestate of driving or pumping, use test software testing the data of accelerations, speeds and displacements of the transmission system under different workingstatus. From statistical analysis of test data, we can draw a conclusion that thetransmission system has a peak with sympathetic vibration, the jumpiness oftransmission arrives to max under some speed.(3) Multi-bodies dynamic analysis of the transmission system. Based onthe drawings, requirements, various parts of transmission shaft assembly aremodeled and assembled by using the engineering design software Pro.E, thenimport it in to the mechanical dynamics analysis software ADAMS. Firstlydefining material attribute of various Parts, adding spring, constraint, drive, load according to actual motion, and then Preliminary validation of the virtualPrototy Ping model. Finally analyzing the virtual Prototy Ping model’skinematics and dynamics characteristics, and comparing with the experimentresults and verifying the model. Based on the verified model, further researchshows that with the speed increased, the force of front flange ascended. Whenthe speed of engine arrives to determinate value, the status of transfer case isexecrable and easy to induce wrecked.(4) FEM dynamic analysis. Imported the assembled model into LS-DYNAby right format, and then define the attribute of materials and elements, contacts, boundaries and solve condition. The results shows, with the speedincreased, the stress of transfer case shell ascended. When the speed of engine arrives to determinate value, the transfer case is execrable to wrecked. The bolt is easy to be wrecked, transmission shaft easier, and the transfercase easiest.(5) Improvement of transmission system layout. This paper takeadvantage of multi-bodies dynamical and FEM to analyze the different schemeof layout. And the results indicate that fixed double shafts transmission systemis better than single shaft system, Both hanging system and muti-fixed arebetter than fixed double shafts system.(6) Summary. Reasonable layout of truck-mounted concrete pump’stransmission system can reduce vibration, improve the force distributing anddynamical characteristic of transmission of the Integral pump. Improve thesecurity, reliability, life-span and the ride comfort.
